Our Mission
Promoting and Enhancing the Hollywood Experience!
Star Walk Enterprises endeavors to create quality directories, guides and maps that serve the needs of both retailers
and tourists. We have also pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds to the upkeep and maintainence of "The Walk".
We care about Hollywood and seek to preserve its legacy and its history. At the same time, we look forward to and
fully support continuing and renewed interest in the Hollywood Entertainment District.
We truly believe that our product helps visitors maximize their Hollywood experience! We seek
to help folks find the stars they want to see in a timely manner, that allows them to have more time to enjoy the
other sights on Hollywood and Vine. This translates into more dollars being spent in the area as visitors
are free to lift their eyes up from the sidewalk and enjoy the many wonderful things the Hollywood Entertainment District
has to offer!
Our History
I'll never forget our first trip to Hollywood. It was a trip we had carefully planned and looked forward to
for months. There we were, on world famous Hollywood Boulevard, taking in all of the color, history and glamour
that makes Hollywood so unique! We visited some of the famous places along Hollywood Blvd. and had a great time!
Like many tourists, we walked up and down "The Walk", searching for our favorite stars amongst the crowds! We
were surprised at just how many stars were on "The Walk" and began to get discouraged, thinking that we would never find
the ones we were searching for. It was like trying to find the proverbial needle in a haystack.
All of the searching got down right frustrating after a while and really began to cut into our time we
had left to see the sights. We went in and out of many shops on the strip looking for a map or list
to tell us where to find our favorite stars only to come up empty handed. We even asked a few of
the vendors and no one knew where to find such a map. Our time was limited and to our disappointment, there
were many stars we never found. We also saw many names we recognized, but could not recall what they
were famous for. In the end, we came away with more questions than answers.
I began to listen out on the sidewalk and I could hear other tourists complaining about the
same thing and asking the same questions. It seems everyone had certain stars they had come to see and they weren't
able to find them. That's when we decided to compile all of the information and make our own guide to "The Walk"!
We spent years researching and made repeat trips to Hollywood to verify the information our directory
contains. Our Directories and Guides are the most accurate and complete available - not
just a list of addresses. We are confident that your customers will want to buy our products! Why?
Because they are interesting, informative, light
weight, compact, easy to read and use, plus they have all the information tourists will need to find EVERY
star on "The Walk"! Most importantly, unlike a large cumbersome book, our directories
